Discussions related to this page

This Discussion Page (or Talk Page) is the best place to write about what is on the page, that is to say text about the text.

Rather than busy up the wiki page itself with comments and questions like 'Should this be organized differently' or 'wouldn't this look better this way' it is better to have those discussions on this page.

Keeping things orderly

One way to keep your questions or answers clearly separated from those above yours is to add a rule line. This can easily be added by typing four dashes on a line with no other text.

Like This:

Typing four tilde characters (~~~~) anywhere will insert your user name and a timestamp. It's probably best to do this on a line by itself to 'sign' your discussion contribution

Before blindly adding new pages and radically changing the layout, it's a good idea to ask first to make sure all have the same vision for how these pages should be structured.

Question 1:

Where should the text click here link to in the below note? Is it OK for me to create a new blank page? Or does that page already exist?

(note: if any of your axis moved in the wrong direction, click here)

Question 2:

Should the below text be explained with a paragraph of text? If so, what is this, a dump of the current grbl settings?

Grbl 0.8a
'$' to dump current settings
$0 = 43.74 (steps/mm x)
$1 = 43.74 (steps/mm y)
$2 = 320.00 (steps/mm z)
$3 = 30 (microseconds step pulse)
$4 = 500.00 (mm/min default feed rate)
$5 = 500.00 (mm/min default seek rate)
$6 = 0.10 (mm/arc segment)
$7 = 28 (step port invert mask. binary = 00011100)
$8 = 25.00 (acceleration in mm/sec^2)
$9 = 0.05 (cornering junction deviation in mm)
